Terms & Conditions

All goods will remain the property of Supaedge (PTY)LTD until fully paid for.

Faulty goods must be returned to the relevant Supaedge (PTY)LTD branch where the original purchase was made.

Quotations are only valid for a period of 24 hours unless explicitly otherwise stated.

Supaedge (PTY)LTD will not accept responsibility for the guaranteed supply and price of products quoted on (this is due to factors such as volatile currency exchange).

Supaedge (PTY)LTD will not guarantee the price validity and stock availability of a third party supplier.

Supaedge (PTY)LTD provides a 7day return policy from date of purchase (invoice date as stipulated on the Supaedge (PTY)LTD tax invoice). Items returned within this return policy period will be credited on the condition that the goods are returned in exactly the same condition as it was at original point of purchase including original packaging, manuals, driver disks, any accessories, serial numbers and a copy of the tax invoice.

A 15% (fifteen percent) handling fee may be levied should the goods returned not be in exactly the same condition as it was at the time of purchase with all packaging intact and complete.

Credit will not be issued at all should the faulty goods be returned later than seven days of date of purchase from Supaedge (PTY)LTD.

Before a credit will be passed, all items that are returned will be assessed by a Supaedge (PTY)LTD technician to be deemed fit for return and credit as set out in these terms and conditions. Should there be any reason that Supaedge (PTY)LTD cannot assess the product it will first be sent to the vendor or supplier for testing and approval for credit, swop out or repair.

Data will not be guaranteed at all, and the loss of data will not in any way be the responsibility of Supaedge (PTY)LTD. Data backup remains the sole responsibility of the client.

Digital items such as software (for example a MikroTik RouterOS License key) is non-refundable without exception.

Any goods ordered that are not collected within 2 days of notification will deem the order to be cancelled and the goods will not be held.

All backorders that have come into stock will be cancelled within 2 days of receiving said stock, should the order not be completed.

All quotes, invoices and prices without exception will be subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. No transaction or correspondence will be deemed valid without adhering to these terms and conditions.

Prices and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

Only goods purchased directly from Supaedge (PTY)LTD will be accepted for warranty. Should an item have been purchased from a different vendor and not from Supaedge (PTY)LTD directly, the item would need to be returned to the vendor from which it was purchased.

Errors and Omissions excepted.

Warranty Terms

  1. All Supaedge (PTY)LTD products are warranted against defects, for a period of 1 year (unless otherwise specified), starting from the date of the Supaedge (PTY)LTD invoice. 
  2. Any warranty returns needs to be accompanied by the tax invoice, or invoice number. No warranty returns will be accepted without a physical copy of the invoice, or at minimum the invoice number the item(s) were purchased on.
  3. Units are booked into RMA upon receipt at Supaedge (PTY)LTD branch and will go into testing for a period of 72 hours (business days), after which the client will be contacted with feedback on the unit. The client will be issued with a CRO number upon book-in.
  4. Unit warranty is a carry-in warranty. The customer is responsible for the return of all defective products and the costs associated with the return, and it is the client’s responsibility to collect an item should it be repaired or replaced. Supaedge (PTY)LTD is not liable for any transport costs and it is the sole responsibility of the client to return or collect any warranty items.
  5. Supaedge (PTY)LTD at their discretion will repair or replace a product found to be defective during the warranty period. The sole responsibility of Supaedge (PTY)LTD under this warranty shall be limited to the repair of this product, or replacement thereof, at the sole discretion of Supaedge (PTY)LTD.
  6. If a unit can be repaired, it will not be swopped out/replaced by Supaedge (PTY)LTD.
  7. Supaedge (PTY)LTD will not repair warranty void or out of warranty items, nor send it back to the supplier.
  8. Supaedge (PTY)LTD does not supply loan units. If an item needs to be sent back to a supplier, it will be done so for the client at our expense, however if the client requires a unit whilst their unit is with the supplier a replacement unit will need to be purchased and paid for.
  9. Any repair time given by Supaedge (PTY)LTD for items that were sent back to supplier, is merely an estimate based on information supplied by the manufacturer and Supaedge (PTY)LTD will not be bound by it.
  10. Supaedge (PTY)LTD will not be held liable for any kind of data loss what-so-ever. It is understood that the client has made backups of all relevant data prior to returning an item.
  11. In the event of a returned unit being deemed faulty, Supaedge (PTY)LTD will issue a replacement of the same or similar specification.
  12. No refunds will be considered in respect of the return of damaged or faulty equipment.
  13. Any repaired/replaced unit not collected within 30 days of the client being notified may be sold to defray costs.

 

Limitation of Warranty

This warranty does not apply to the product if:

  1. proof of purchase cannot be supplied (copy of tax invoice or invoice number),
  2. has been opened and/or altered, except by Supaedge (PTY)LTD technical personnel,
  3. has been painted, written on or marked in way, shape or form,
  4. has been damaged due to errors or defects in cabling,
  5. has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, including but not limited to lightening strikes, power surges, water damage, misuse, negligence, or accidents,
  6. has any burn marks on the product, signs of corrosion or moisture,
  7. removal of MAC Address/serial number label or any other original label.

Due to external factors, power supplies are excluded from product warranties.

Privacy Policy

  1.       We respect your privacy. Should you decide to make use of our Website, the personal information that we will require of you is the following:

            Applicable to Individuals:

        1.1.2       your email address;

        1.1.3       your physical address;

            Applicable to Companies/Resellers:

            In addition to the above (1.1.1 – 1.1.3), please note that in order to register with Uniterm Direct as a reseller,
        we require extra documentation in order to assure the legitimacy of the company. 

            This is required in order to protect our reseller partners and is industry standard.

                        1.2.1                A copy of the company registration documentation (CK documentation or other relevant documentation);

                        1.2.2                The VAT/Tax registration document of the company;

                        1.2.3                ID Copies of the Owner(s) or Directors of the company;

 

  1.       It is your responsibility to update any of your personal information that you provide to us as soon as it is no longer accurate and complete.

 

  1.       This Website makes use of “cookies” to automatically collect information and data through the standard operation of the Internet servers. “Cookies” are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user’s on going access to and use of a website and allow a website to track usage behaviour and compile aggregate data that will allow the website operator to improve the functionality of the website and its content. The type of information collected by cookies is not used to personally identify you.   1.    If you disclose your personal information to a third party, such as an entity which operates a website linked to this Website or anyone other than the Company, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, HOWSOEVER ARISING, SUFFERED BY YOU AS A RESULT OF THE DISCLOSURE OF SUCH INFORMATION TO THE THIRD PARTY. This is because we do not regulate or control how that third party uses your personal information. You should always ensure that you read the privacy policy of any third party.
